Job Opening - Associate Producer

The Associate Producer is responsible for assisting the Producer with the successful coordination and execution of a show, series, or vignette. In this role, the Associate Producer will help the Producer develop and oversee the creative process, tone, formats and direction of branded content.

DUTIES

  • Guide multiple multi-platform campaigns from inception to final delivery, ensuring coordination between creative, strategic, production, and editing teams
  • Ensure projects come in within deadline and budget
  • Manage project schedules, including pre-production, production and post-production stages
  • Work with editors and communicate timelines to ensure videos deliver on time
  • Research, write, and edit scripts for short form vignettes
  • Book and manage VO sessions
  • Coordinate shoots with vendors, talent, creative teams, overseeing communication and logistical details
  • Manage releases, talent selection, and other production documents
  • Effectively articulate the brand strategy and ensure that programming is on-brand
  • Establish and manage relationships with new talent and clients

COMPETENCIES and EXPERIENCE

  • Must be a team player and motivated to do excellent work
  • Knowledge and understanding of pre-production and post-production processes (including budgeting, studio and field production, off-line and on-line editing, graphics, music composition, mixing)
  • Must have superior communication and follow-up skills and be capable of working on multiple projects in various stages of production in an extremely fast paced environment
  • Impeccable organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt work pace and priorities in order to meet deadlines and goals
  • Must have calm, professional, outgoing demeanor with ability to prioritize multi-level tasks
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Interest in the principles of television production and media
  • Exhibit fluency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
