Job Opening - Development Executive Assistant


The Executive Assistant’s main role is to work closely with our busy development team in maintaining and organizing materials, information, systems, communication and files while anticipating departmental needs and taking a productive and proactive approach to the position. Must be willing to commit to a minimum of one year in the executive assistant role. This person should be highly organized, be a great team player, and possess strong written and oral communication skills. The position is part-time.


  • Research specific topics and locations as requested
  • Book travel and/or assist in booking travel as needed
  • Utilize company research systems to gather useful information
  • Strategize different solutions for obtaining the necessary research on any given topic
  • Assist wherever needed in the department
  • Collect data and communicate that data in a clear and concise manner
  • Keep current on daily news & pop culture
  • Remain current on television and digital programming
  • Manage mandate lists received from agents & networks
  • Maintain and build professional relationships with network/agency/company assistants
  • Maintain meeting agendas and talent agreement forms, keeping team up-to-date
  • Keep the development office maintained and organized
  • Work a hybrid schedule up to 24 hours a week
  • Take notes for all team brainstorms and creative meetings
  • Assist in keeping team Dropbox + Google Drive updated + organized
  • Keep track of expiration dates on all dev talent agreements
  • Assist in keeping all development work flow systems organized
  • Maintain development calendars as needed.
  • Set and distribute Zoom links, conference dial-ins and the like for meetings
  • Maintain phone logs and reminders as requested/required

  • Previous experience as an executive assistant preferred, but not required
  • An innate curiosity and ability to formulate solutions to obstacles
  • Ability to work as an exceptionally productive and supportive team member
  • Exhibit fluency with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, social media platforms & internet search engines.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
  • Interest in the principles of TV production and media, as well as current TV / pop culture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
