DIY Network approached us to create a graphic style for this new series of seasonal, tip-based videos.
To stay on brand with DIY Network’s visual identity, we used simple, semi-transparent white graphics over live action video. With a dynamic logo animation and the use of fluid “slices” of video as transitions, we brought life to the relatively simple design. In addition, graphics were integrated into the footage, through motion tracking, and graphic arrows were used throughout to highlight the topic of interest.
Overall, the graphics help illustrate the tips offered in each video. Pleased with the outcome, the network ordered more videos for their spring series.
